EP 8: What is Confidence Anyway?

Dear amazing human,

Today on the podcast, I talk all about what is means to be confident. Confidence is doing something even when you feel unsure. It is asserting your needs even when it is uncomfortable to stand up for yourself. It is wearing the outfit you have always wanted too because you feel like a badass.

Confidence is fighting for what you believe in even if others don't agree and making hard decisions because you know it may cause pain but the benefits outweigh the pain. It is possible to be confident even if you aren't feeling that way right now!

Confidence is a belief in oneself, the conviction that one has the ability to meet life's challenges and to succeed—and the willingness to act accordingly. Being confident requires a realistic sense of one’s capabilities and feeling secure in that knowledge.

So it isn’t working against yourself and forcing yourself to be something that you arent. It is understanding your strengths and building upon those. It is about finding your voice even if you don’t believe it will be heard.
